 We are going to discuss fundamental ideas of social democracy, to show how we realize them in life of our organization, to discuss the situation in the country and the world

Seminar will take place in educational center of K. Lovenstain. Representatives of youth social-democratic organizations of Western and Eastern Europe, Middle East are invited to participate in the seminar. During the seminar participants will discuss particular reasons of some regional conflicts, as well as impact of the “market society”. The participants are supposed to propose their own ways for conflict resolution on the level of presented organizations. 

October 31 - November 1, 2009 in a boarding house "Sea Surf” (Zelenogorsk City) non-commercial partnership "Center of Social Assistance "Trust" with the support of the Committee on Youth Policy and Interaction with civil society organizations held a scientific-practical seminar "Migrants and the local community: prevention and resolution of local ethno-religious tensions on the basis of labor migration.

"Procession Against Hatred" will be held on October 31. This is the biggest street event in Russia dedicated to countering xenophobia. The slogans of the march: "Stop Xenophobia!" and "Russia Without Racism”.

Opponents - Sergey Barinov (RSDUY Moscow) and Maxim Ivantsov (Youth Human Rights Group, St. Petersburg). Process moderates Sergey Simonov (Polit-Gramota). Civic Coalition for Concerned Petersburg invites all residents of our city to come to the rally for the preservation of St. Petersburg. Venue: Sports Palace “Yubileyniy”, subway station ”Sportivnaya” at 00:00 p.m.

Subject of debate: tolerance and xenophobia in Russia. Diametrically opposite positions on these issues made by the President of Russian Social Democratic Union of Youth Yevgeny Konovalov and Coordinator of Public Relations Movement Against Illegal Immigration (MAII )- Petersburg Andrey Kuznetsov.

September 20 in St. Petersburg will host a flash mob called a ”The Demarche Of Extremists”. The action aims: to inform the public about the fact that the state constantly interferes in the affairs of civil society, hindering its development at all levels and create a network of all-Russia counter this phenomenon.

This intellectual & sport event is based on relations between the first democratic republic Novgorod and Moscow princedom.

Games goals: 1. educational – participants will be able to get to know interesting historical facts of the period; try different behavior styles (Democratic & authoritarian) when making decision, evaluate their efficiency in various situations. 2. entertainment – there will be not only intellectual work, but also many interesting sport activities!
 

Cooperation program between two regional branches of youth political organizations JUSOS & RSDUY includes Joint events & visits of delegations to Russia & Germany. Last September SDUY SPb received JUSOS delegation. The return visit will be this year.
